Kerry graduated from Indiana University-Indianapolis Law School in 1975 and was admitted to the bar in Indiana and Kentucky that year. He has been an attorney in Scottsburg, Indiana since 1975 and has been a partner of Robert L. Houston since 1979 and of Jennifer D. Lewis since 1999. Much of his law practice involves providing real estate services to individual and business clients.
